v6 Z28 vert?

A guy in my town says he has a 1992 z28 vert, with a v6. The engine code in the vin is "T" which is the v6, but I didn't think the Z28 could be had in the v6. Am i missing something?

LOL People are clueless... Z28, Z24, Z34, Z36, Z71, Z06, it's all the same right?
