What would you prefer?

I looked around to see if there was a general only thread but there isn't so I guess the next best place to post this question would be in the history arena.

So what would you choose? An 89 IROC-Z 350 TPI fully loaded (for that time) or a 1997 Camaro SS LT4 limited production car? I believe there were only 106 produced for that year.

So here's some food for thought before you answer. 1, the IROC-Z & the SS Camaro are both rather limited production performance cars for Camaro. They only made these cars for a few years total during Camaro's entire history.

2.) The IROC-Z is somewhat of a classic car & many guys are wanting to get their hands on one. Namely a 350tpi. It's rare to find one in perfect shape with low low miles. The Camaro SS for the 90's & early 2000's came with the most horsepower from the LT1 & LS1 powered cars.

3.) In the late 80's into the last year the IROC-Z was made for 1990, it was the most powerful Camaro since the early 70's. IROC-Z jump started a powerful fan base & these cars are easy to soup up into the 450 to 500 horsepower range. That isn't including the crap load of torque.

4.) Price wise you can get a fully loaded 88 IROC-Z 350 for under $5,000. The Camaro SS while more powerful (stock vs. stock) and more updated is an expensive car to buy, usually ranging from $8k to $18k for those with low miles. But I admit, it is a car to lust for.

5.) Body style wise I'd go with the IROC-Z. The Camaro SS has the awesome hood & sometimes I've seen them with a rear wing but overall body vs. body style the IROC-Z was ahead of it's time in the 80's & I it's handling capabilities were pretty savvy. It just looks more dangerous, sleek, cool & it's a cop magnet (both cars are).

6.) These are a few pointers I wanted to make on these 2 outstanding cars. Obviously there are more 6 bangers, 305's & Z28's rolling around, so I'm not even considering them. Tell me what you think & what you would buy & why.
