82-84 T/A tailights
I have a set of the smoked tailights for 82 - 84. My question is about the center section. All I find have the molded in firebird emblem around the keyhole. Mine doesn't. Is this emblem removable or was there a specific model or year without this emblem? I will post a pic this evening if needed.

Re: 82-84 T/A tailights
Ok , went to take pictures and looked at them closely. It is a regular T/A center section from 82-84. Somebody just cut, ground, sanded the raised off leaving ribs across them. Noticed the small groove where the inside emblem met the tail plastic. I was WRONG but then maybe I should have more light next time. Sorry for the confusion but it is a unique way to destroy a T/A center piece. Will get another if I decide to use these lights.

out of curiosity, can you still post a picture of it? I can't quite picture what yours was modified to look like.

Re: 82-84 T/A tailights
I was already able to trade it off to a (get this) guy with a 86 Camaro.?? Why he wanted it I don't know. Picture the 82-84 center section ribbed all the way across. No Bird emblem just ribs across that area. Or think of a taillight cut to that length with a hole for the key. Am working a deal for another proper one and a kitchen gas cook top stove. $35.00 I can only hope.
