Window noise

Im not sure if this board of restoration is the place to be for my issue.
Has anyone had a window problem when you raise them and they make a embarrassing screaching sound? Has anyone ever fixed the problem? Any advice would help.

Re: Window noise

Mine has manual windows and the drivers window is loud to put up. I think its something with the regulator or rollers inside there.

Re: Window noise

I fixed mine. There are 4 felt covered pieces of metal that measure around 1 1/2". They hold window in place. I got some dust off and blew the pieces. Then I sprayed water on the pieces. Then I sprayed dust off again and the result was no more loud screaching noise.
