I'm new and I have a ? - Imagine That!
Hello,
New to this forum and my user name should have said "Speed" not "Spee" Oh well.
I have a fondness for 3rd Gens as I bought a new 1986 Camaro IROC-Z, Black & Gold with the 305 TPI back in the day. Loved that car. Plus my best friend from 10 till now (32 years later) still has his Burgundy 1985 Pontiac Trans Am with a 305 in his driveway. Needs to be restored at this point.
Today I drive a 2009 Pontiac G8 GT with a slightly modded 6.0L L76 (think GTO LS2 but with AFM added and a different CAM). Daily driver, ran 12.97 at Atco a couple months back, and I love it. I love Pontiacs and most GM vehicles for that matter.
I do have a question that I thought I would ask of the experts here:
I found an old Firebird Illustrated book that makes mention of a 1988 Carroll VHO Formula. Only 3 were made it seems. I can't believe I never heard of them especially being from NJ and into high performance cars at that time back then.
If these still exist, what would they be worth? Any value to them?
Thanks for your input. I hope to share more with you. If you have any questions about Camaros in the late 80's, I'll see what I can pull from the deep crevices of my brain!
