Does anybody have any documentation such as brochures or order sheets for Cars & Concepts? Ideally I'd like to get my hands on something pertaining to my '91, but any thirdgen stuff would work.

I'd love to see those. If you could upload them again taht would be great. If it would be easier, you can send them to my e-mail address at eldon.hatch@navy.mil.

I had read that on the second gen T/A's, many of them had a data plate that had the date and who did the conversion. They must have stopped doing that 'cause I haven't heard of anything like that in any of the thirdgens.

My 88 has the date and who did the conversion on the door jam in a soft metal tag.

I took a look and didn't see any tags or anything identifying when the conversion was done and by whom.

Re: C&C T-Top documentation
It is probably hard to tell who did the conversion.. My understanding that C&C T-top conversions were usually done by dealerships when the car was new in order to aid in a sale, most likely if someone wanted a car from Stock, but wanted T-tops.

Re: C&C T-Top documentation
I wish there was more documentation about the whole process. In particular C&C. Seems like sunroofdoctor.com bought their remaining inventory but didn't get their records. There is no data plates anywhere on my car (that I've found so far), and unfortunately the original dealership my car was sold at is long gone. I know my car was originally sold at the Al Piano Pontiac dealership in Simi Vally.

Re: C&C T-Top documentation
Here is what I have... I doctored it a little... My scanner is a typical 8.5x12, the folder (flattened) is actually 11x22, so it makes it interesting to try and scan without lines... I tried to clean up the middle of the inside, as a crease went thru the cars...

From the pamphlet, apparently C&C did more than just cut the top off, they added some to the car to keep some structural rigidity...

Enjoy...

And no, its not for sale...

It appears that they show both a (White) Firebird and a (red) Camaro. The Camaro appears to have a red interior with gray seats... I wonder if they were having a problem with the red interior in the pictures with a red car....

Mine is under the rear hatch. If I get home before dark I'll take a picture of it tonight. There may be a door jamb sticker, I'll have to look to make sure.

Re: C&C T-Top documentation
I'd like to see some pics of real C&C cars, if anyone would like to share...particularly the top of the windshield and also preferrably shots with the ttops out. Thanks.

Re: C&C T-Top documentation
Here's my CarDomain page. You can see a little bit of the tops. If you want, I can get closer shots of that area with & without the tops on.

I took a quick look around the rear hatch area tonight but didn't see anything at all back there.
