Hello all. I am a plank owner of a 1986 Iroc, red and still completely stock. Been rebuilding it over the last several years or so. New motor, 305 TPI, 4 years ago, new paint, original red color, 5 years ago, new trans last year. Working on interior now...she needs a dash, seats and new center console because some creeps broke in it and ripped out the console to get to the radio. Fixin the t-tops now....well....WORKING on them lol. Just wanted to say hi to all my fellow 3rd gen owners. Putting up pics soon.

 

Sounds like a sharp looking car. Posts pics as soon as you can. I'm curious how it looks. As far as the dash pad, I would either buy off Third Gen or locally (Craiglist). I bought 2 off of Ebay, and each one arrived cracked. People don't know how to properly package these dash pads from Ebay. Both were insured and I finally got my money back, but it was a pain getting the Ebay sellers to follow through with the insurance claim. Maybe others on this site have had different experiences, but that's my 2 cents.
