correct colors and decals?
this is my 1988 Trans Am. I believe it has been repainted, but in the original color because it matches the invoice I have for it.. but somone obviously painted the rims gold to look like a GTA... I'm thinking of making it look more factory original... but what would be the original wheel and decal colors for a 1988 Trans Am? I read the factory brochure says trans am is available with black, red and white wheels. and gold is for the GTA.
is this true? were no other colors available in 88? and what would most likely come out on a silver trans am? I'm thinking black... would it have black decals as well? any help is appreciated, thanks.

Re: correct colors and decals?
Most of the time the Trans Am 16's were painted charcoal gray. Gold was usually reserved for the GTA. Red, White, and Black were optional, but were usually used on Red, White, or Black Trans Ams.
