z/28 non IROC specs

Okay, I have done some searching to make sure the info isnt out there already.

My questions are.

1. Did the 1985 z/28 (Non IROC) camaro hoods still have the louvers or was it a non louver hood? could you provide response with an image link to hood style?

2. Also, what are the stock z/28 wheels for 1985 and if anyone knows the RPO for option wheels what are they?

As far as I have found these are the stock wheels, yes/no?

I am trying to make my car as original as when it came off the assembly line. Thanks for all help

Jared

1) The louvered hood was part of the Z28 package 85-90. Even the fog lights were optional. The Iroc package 85-87 was basically cosmetic (monochrome paint, stripes, badges, and 16" wheels).

2) N90 15" aluminum wheels were standard on the non-Irocz Z28. The pic shows the N90 wheels.

Keep in mind GM used the N90 code for MULTIPLE 15x7" wheels across the Camaro and Firebird lines. I want to say even the Monte SS 15's used the N90 code.

Great that answers pretty much everything! Raises a new question though, my car shows an N96 RPO code that lists the 16x8 wheels. I thought they did not come out till 87? correct me if I am wrong please.

No, you're wrong... 85 was the first year for Camaro 16" wheels, but only on the Iroc. If you've got N96, you've gotta have B4Z (the IROCZ code) so your car is an Iroc. Assuming the VIN on your rpo sheet matches the cars vin.

Well it looks like my car is an IROCZ then! I didnt know it until now. The car has been repainted from its original blue color so they took off all the decals.
Thanks a bunch!
