Any advice for us on our Iroc Projects?
My buddy and I both have 86' Irocs that we are putting in my garage for the winter and are restoring them. And not to mention that we are only 17 years old. Both have Tpi 305's and 700-r4's. Mine is going to be buffed, new decals and interior swap. His is going to be painted, interior swap, new seals, and decals. If you have any pointers or just want to give us advice please do. These are our babies and we want them to look amazing

Before concentrating on the costmetics, make sure the technical bits are all in order

I think deciding on the "type" of car you want--in advance of spending a lot of dough is helpful. For example, do you want a nice DD, a strip car, an auto cross car, a show car? Making a decision in advance will save time and money.

Well, they will be our DD's until next winter when we put them away again.

i advise,if i may,buy a 86 camaro shop manual. they are worth their weight in gold.i got mine at helm.com. they help answer more technical questions ,than you ever thought possible. i have a 86 IROC too. i love it.70 mph 2100 rpm on the freeway nets 22 mpg with the ac and cruise on.they make nice drivers, good luck
