91 Trans AM. Worth the price?

A local guy is selling a 91 trans am 305 TPI 5-speed. He is listing it as a GTA, but I think its just a TA. Has some cosmetic flaws in it, but the drive train is still solid in it. He wants $1500.00 for it, no lower. is it worth it? heres the link to it: http://siouxcity.craigslist.org/cto/2923263455.html

Re: 91 Trans AM. Worth the price?

Sounds like a good price for a car that runs and drives, particularly for it being a 5 speed/t-top car (stupid rare). Looks like it's in about the same shape mine was in when I bought it (cosmetically at least).

Definitely not a GTA though...someone swapped Formula wheels onto it, and GTA's don't have the "Trans Am" decals on the door ground effects. Not to mention it's missing the Ultima seats, and most obviously the GTA badges. Still an awesome buy at $1,500 though.
