I seen one that the headliner looked like it had buttons in between the sun visors and a little pocket/pouch that was all on one piece connected to the dome light. Haven't seen that many with it, is it rare? What exactly is it?
Nevermind i figured it out, overhead console!

GM made those overhead consoles from 1984-87 in both Camaros and Firebirds. I know that for Camaros they installed 89,373 during those years. About 25,000 per year for '84, '85, '86, and only 3,366 in the final year they offered it in '87 as RPO DK6.Originally Posted by V8Broski

Get a regular one and cut holes in it? GM may have had a different part number for cars that had overhead consoles, but I don't believe I've seen anyone offer an aftermarket headliner that already had the holes cut for the overhead console.Originally Posted by Gary Simonds

yup.. I was hoping to take the easy way out... but it seems everything you touch on a 25 year old car opens a can of worms. but it's worth it in the end.. thanks guys.
