Re: camaro dash pad
That looks like an (84-sometime in 89) if the holes punched in the speaker grills are in the shape of a rectangle. It is hard to be certain because of the picture quality. I say this because my 88 convertible has the same dash pad as the one pictured with the rectangle pattern punched out for speakers and it is an original one.
My 89 convertible has a different one than my 88 and it is also an original one.
My 89 has the same dash pad as my 92 RS which is also an original one. The only difference between the (84-sometime in 89) is in the "holes" punched out for speakers in the (sometime in 89)-(92) dash pads it is in an oval shape and not a rectangle shaped punch out. I'm talking about the holes that go all the way through the dash pad, not the shape of the rectangular grill that is molded on the pad. I also say (sometime in 89) because I have seen early built 89s that have the rectangle shaped holes punched out instead of the oval. They may have also changed manufactures at this time?
I haven't read or heard of anyone noticing this difference before. I'm just pointing it out for those that want to stay all original from (sometime in 89-92).
