Re: Who do you insure your third gen with?
I just renewed with Grundy this month at the same rate as last year. $220/year for 16K of agreed value. Very smooth process.

Hagerty. I also am a Allstate agent, so I work with Hagerty products. By and large they are the superior choice in the market. They will even cover your third gen under restoration.

If you are in KS and reading this, give me a call.

I switched last year to American Collectors for an agreed value of $12,000 for $142.46 a year. Before I switched from American Modern I was paying $160.51 for an agreed value of $6,000,now I'm getting twice the value for $19.00 less.

Re: Who do you insure your third gen with?
A couple of years back Grundy started offering agreed value coverage on other vehicles besides collector cars. I checked the price on the 82WS7 and 86WS6. The rates were comparable to our Hagerty policy. I also checked the rates for our 2002 F-350 diesel 4x4 crewcab dually with a Lance 1010 truck camper. We purchased the truck new and it only has 57K miles on it. It sits in the garage most of time, and is still like a new one. This was one of last of the bullet proof 7.3 Powerstroke diesels, all optioned up, but with a six speed manual trans. Trucks like these have held their value well, and are sought after today by anyone wanting a HD pickup or collectors. Since a new truck from any of the big three costs around 70K these days, I think that it is a good idea to carry agreed value coverage if it is available on it like on the TA's. The rates were very high, almost triple the rate of insurance with State Farm or NC Farm Bureau, who we have coverage with now.
