84 Trans Am WS6?

How can I tell if it's a WS6 or not? Thanks for any help.

Take your vin to the parts guy at your local dealership and ask him to print you out a buildsheet with all your cars rpo codes.

I haven't heard of any dealership being able to do that for Pre 90 cars.

For 1984 WS6 would have included rear disk brakes. No rear disk brakes, most likely not WS6.

Some cars (mine included) were a WY6. Rear disks but without a posi.
