Does anybody know how many trans ams were made with the ws6 package?

 

A lot. Its just a suspension package. Dont get caught up in the "WS6 hype"

 

thanks, one more question was it possible to option a trans am to be very close to a gta but not be one I just bought a trans am and I know its not a gta because the seats and colors are wrong but it looks like one

 

Yes, WS6 is not a model. It's a suspension level that was standard on ALL Formula's and GTA's from 87-92, and optional on Trans Am.

As for options, most anything that was available on a GTA was also available on a Trans Am, including the articulating Ultima seats, the digital dash, and the 350 engine. The only item I think was a GTA exclusive was the radio controlled steering wheel from 88-89.

 

What he said. my car is a Ws6, looks like a 2-tone GTA, but the wheels are gunmetel, not gold. Alot of people say to me nice GTA-I'm like nope, just a TA, the GTA was never 2-tone.
