Anyone have any numbers for non formula, non GFX firebirds with v8's?

My buddy and me went to go look at a 92 locally, nice car all original. I'm asking cuz almost every v8 bird I've seen without gfx were formulas. Come to think of it almost every v6 bird ive seen has had gfx.

I've checked ebay, CL, autrader and Google and couldn't find one.

 

No numbers for you, but it is somewhat rare to find any 91-92 without the gfx, they seemed to put them on almost all of them.
If you are wondering if this will make it valuable, no, it won't be worth any more than any other 92 v8 in like condition.

 

Agreed. Its a bit uncommon to see but nothing really special.

 

I know it doesn't make it any more special or valuable, not many thirdgens are with the exception of TTA's, Firehawks and 1LE's.

Just curious cuz like I stated I've never come across one.

 

My 91' has a V8 t-5 and no ground FX it's just a base model firebird

I think they meant 91-92 cars without ground efx...the earlier cars were MUCH easier to find without them, and and if I remember correctly, you couldn't even get ground efx on a base model Firebird before '89.

I think we have two of the most option-less V8 Firebirds. Notice you only have 4 rows of rpo codes. I only got 3 rows. Lol

 

It's all good tho .. I still love my car ... And my base firebird is much lighter than a GTA from what I understand ... Couple 100 lbs mabey ? Hell I need to go weigh my car one day ... I bet I've removed atleast 150-200lbs from the car over stock just from the firewall forward .. And I've prolly added some from the firewall back with all the heavy duty suspension stuff :-o

 

Oh I feel u me personally I've always preferred the strip down models like the formulas. Never been a big fan of the t/a's with all that extra cladding and body kit. Not knocking it just not my thing.

Same here I love my car no power nothing just a v8(modded), 5spd and go.

 

I don't have the SPID sheet unfortunately, but my 91 Formula would probably give yours a run for its money. It had power windows, power antenna, t-tops and AC. The switch panel that would normally hold the rear trunk release, fog lights and rear defog is completely blank. Being a 305 5-speed Formula it might have a few more (WS6, G80, etc), but it is a really bare bones go fast car.

 

Yea that is pretty striped down but that's how I like my V8's.

Mine also has that switch panel blank, no PW, no PL, no defog, nothing but a v8 and 5 spd.
