I just picked up this complete interior to put in my car, and I'm curious as to what this interior is called. When in the sunlight the plastics look copper but when inside everything has a maroon color. The seats have black cloth inserts with black on the seams. Dark red leather. The black is a little faded but I will re dye that.
I can tell it's not carmine red, so I would assume copper interior but I've never seen these seats before.
I want to re dye these plastics as some of them are a little scratched.
The date code on some of the plastics says March 85, so they came out of an 85 or 86.

Copper was a one year only option for both interior and exterior and not very common. It's hard to tell with my PC because my monitors don't display correctly, but the door panel and plastics look like like they are copper.
I've never seen seats like that either. On mine the vinyl is only on the sides, and then the area where you sit is all cloth. The cloth does fade easily and I can see them being re-done at some point. Oh, and I wouldn't think GM would run that type of material on the welting as it's there to protect the seams. The welting is also not present in the area where you sit, just on the outer edges. I could be wrong, just my thoughts.
FWIW, when I was looking for the correct color codes for paint, copper was often interchanged with russet. I think I recall that Canada called the color russet while in the US it was copper. Same goes with carpet as well IIRC.
If you search the color paint codes you should find the same information. They should be in the center console.
