What is your favorite color of Interior and Exterior color combos? You can list more than one set but put in order

Mine?

1st: All black exterior with silver interior T/A
2nd: Black exterior with Red Interior IROC with red lettering
3rd Blue Irocs with gray interior

 

1 - Polo Green and Lt Beige . . . but I'm biased . . ;-)
2 - Purple and Grey
3 - Burgundy and Tan

I love white on any thirdgen, it looks clean to me and it's easy to keep up. My favorite color combo of mine is my white on black 91 1LE:


I also like the earlier Z28s that are blue or white and have the blue conteur interior, it's just different, I like it!

I guess I like black third gens

White/black accents (w/ dark windows & t-tops), and sand/silver interior (thinking IROC)

Medium Quasar Blue, and gray or black interior

Burgundy, and tan leather (GTA)

Also like the Z28 and Daytona Pace car packages.

Custom
Pewter (certain shade), and black

Black/silver w/ white outline, and silver/white interior

Flat black or dark gray, and sand/silver interior

Copper(or SOM)/flat black accent, and custom copper (modified) interior

...that said, I’m sure I'm missing something.

You misread his question. He wasn't asking about exterior combos, but interior/exterior combos. But you're right about that exterior combo.

1. My favorite is grey interior / just about any exterior color. These go well together.

I HATE bright red cars with the dark red interior.
I HATE most color cars with the tan interiors.

Both clash IMO.

If next weeks' question is about convertible top colors, I'll put in my dislike for tan tops and most color cars also.

 

Hey everyone. My first post! I love my Gunmetal exterior and grey interior combo on my '88 Roc. Not a fan of stripes and decals but if I HAD to get stripes/graphix, I would use a white with light blue outline although some rat rod-esque lime green highlights and accents could be cool too.

Bright red cars or really any 3rd gen with black interior is great. Also black with the beachwood leather looks great. The interior on the 82 Z28 Pace car was a really neat looking IMO also. I had a white Z28 with red cloth interior I absolutely hated, one reason I eventually sold it for a red GTA w/black leather interior.

A Solid "Blacked out" car with high gloss paint always looks good. Would have been my seconded choice.

 

Black exterior with Charcoal interior; it came with red exterior stripes and red badges, available from 1982-1984.

I ordered my 1983(stolen in 1986) Z28 HO in that combo, and it was perfect. If I ever redo my Formula's interior, it will be predominantly Charcoal, with red, black and grey accents.

 

I love my purple haze with black interior. I like a lot of exterior colors but black is the only interior color I like. Gray is ok, the darker the better. Tan is the color my grandpa has in his interior. Interior colors red, blue, green, etc; I can only blame the cocaine of the 80's for these colors.

 

I am biased towards flame red metallic.

Maybe one of these months I will get voted into the COTM.

Ya I definitely do, Happened on my wedding day 5 years ago. Drove the car there so we could take pics afterwards. pulled up too close to a curb and rubbed it.. sucks for sure.

Also I bought a rear axle from ya awhile back, I notice you are in warner robins as am I.

Gotta love Photoshop's clone and spot healing brush. It's paintless dent repair for photographs! If only it was this easy on the real car....

 

 

It's funny, when I could order a 3rd gen, I only considered white or black with a black or gray interior.

But years later, I gravitate to the wilder colors. Silver or black with a red interior. Yellow Gold, Polo Green, Medium Orange Metallic, etc.


I'm pretty sure I'm the only person to have an '85 Yellow Gold parked next to a '92 Purple Haze Metallic in their garage.

 

I had the same debate chazman. When I bought my '91 RS, I debated for a LONG time between Arctic White/Grey and Teal/tan. I loved both, but bought the white.

 

Red with Gold. Tan interior. ...medium beechwood if ya wanna split hairs. ...I love any color combo that doesn't have gray interior.
