I picked up a 1989 Camaro last week for my birthday gift to myself and I was taking the dash off which was skin cracked pretty bad. Found this ticket under there on the drivers side. What is this?? Sorry I took it on my webcam and its mirrored

Re: Slip found under dash?

It might be the test slip from the gauges. I had one of them in my car and it looked like they tested the gauges and speedo and printed the results on that paper and attached it to the back of the gauge pod.

I agree with 82tarecaro as, although the picture isn't the best, it does look like the common IP cluster test sticker that is used to show if the cluster passes.

Re: Slip found under dash?

Here is a better picture of the one for my 92 GTA. My door sticker says my built date was 10/91 and the test date for the dash was 9/27/91 as the test results show. I kept mine adhered to the plastic under the dash.

Re: Slip found under dash?

I also "discovered" one under my dash pad. Mine, however, showed it to be for a different VIN than my car. I could never unravel why it did not show the proper VIN. Curious. Anybody have a '91 car with the VIN sequence number 117231? I am the original owner so I know only me and Pontiac had its hands on the car over the years.
