Found this for sale in Texas and was wondering if this could be a players challenge car. Maybe a 1LE with some race history. A little much for something that need towed. I don't understand why someone would put a MSD box drilled to the dash on such a rare car.

 

Only way to know is to check the VIN. I can verify if it is real.

Otherwise look for R7U in the option codes.

It might be a 1LE with race history.

Thanks for the reply mark. Since you can verify vin's I have a 1992 1LE and was wondering if it may have race history. I uploaded pictures of the vin with rpo codes. My wife and I bought this car in Miami last year. I was also wondering if you ever seen a 1LE Black with red interior and a 5 speed? Any info on the car would be greatly appreciated. I personally never seen one with the red interior.

 

I look for those cars everyday. I post them as I find them hoping that someone on here would see them that's in the market to buy one. I rather see someone on this site get those cars that appreciates them for more than a big brake package car. I know where a 92 1LE 5 speed is that a guy is stripping to turn into a drag car. He doesn't care that it is a 1LE or that it is rare. That's why when I see them I post them.

 

I have none. I don't think black with red interior was a combination they made. I have a number of red interior cars, but they are either White exterior, or Red.

 

The reason I was asking about the Black with red interior because mine has that combination. Sorry I should have worded it better. Most of the ones that I've seen was Black with grey interior.
