I noticed that too. The display should be green, not orange. I think orange came in the '85 Delco units. I'll look more closely at the pictures when I'm not on ny phone...
The gas gauge and temp gauges should have a different earlier font and fatter needles like the voltage gauge, correct? With the seats redone, replacement tires, etc it has to be a restored car...
There's a lot of funny stuff with this car. Why does the light switch **** show wear and has the wrong windshield washer bottle?
I totally agree. For supposedly 60 miles there is a lot to question. There is an ERS tag above the radio which makes me wonder if the whole dash has been changed out. I don't think ERS was on the early cars.
I notice the seller doesn't actually make any claims as to the car's originality or claim the mileage is for real. But a nice car at any rate, maybe not $16k nice considering?

Looks Like The Temperature Gauge Has Been Replaced It Has The Step Down Needle Which Didn't Come Out Till 1985,The Gas Gauge Has The Taper Down Needle Which Is Correct For 1982.

Right, it simply says "60 miles on the odometer". Just considering the condition of the car, I don't think the asking price is too far off.

Buyer beware, as always.
Just to add 2 cents of information here, I remember well the radio system that my family's 1982 Berlinetta had. (The car was purchased early in the spring of 1982.)
It was the top-of-the-line radio with ERS and cassette, and it did have the ERS tag on the dash. So that part at least is okay, I believe. (We had a Berlinetta, but I assume the same radio was available in the Z28s.) On the other hand, even that top-of-the-line radio had analog (mechanical) tuning, so that radio is obviously wrong. I believe digital tuning displays arrived in 1983 for Camaros, as that is what my best friend's 1983 Camaro had.
Seeing detailed pictures of the underside & drivetrain would tell the rest of the story IMO. So hard to fake ultra low mile cars. My guess is its a low mile car that somebody messed with. to only have 60 miles means somebody bought it to store it. Nobody with that intent would store it in a barn, so undersides should look pretty good, it should not be flogged with undercoating & paint. And even though its 34 years old, it sure could have had the original GT tires on it & it really should dry rot cracking or not. My 89 had the original tires on it when I bought it last year. They were junk & cracking but still original. One of my favorite parts about the car. Would be a good buy if it was all legit. has anyone contacted the seller for more info?
I just heard back from the seller today. He says the car was stolen in 1985 and due to damage caused by thieves, the car was restored by the first owner. The car had 26,000 miles at the time of the theft. He also mentioned that the second owner "freshened up the entire car paint, interior, motor was checked out by owens racing, transmission was checked out with reciepts for every new part and bolt." The person who contacted me stated that his father is the third and current owner and that (He) is assisting the father in selling this car.
