History / OriginalityGot a question about 1982-1992 Camaro or Firebird history? Have a question about original parts, options, RPO codes, when something was available, or how to document your car? Those questions, answers, and much more!
I just bought a pretty nice black 1991 Z28 Convertible and I need help with the history of car.
The RPO code sticker is in very bad shape so if anyone can help me with the options the car came with if it's possible to get that info.
Productions numbers is also of great interest. I know there was around 3200 convertible built in 1991 but how many of them came as Z28 with manual tran?

RPO codes -
Chris,
That is for Convertibles only. Unfortunately the Convertible with the LB9 & L03 both used the same M39 manual transmission & 3.08 axle. So that would be all Z28 and all RS/Base with a V8 and the 5 speed. The 6 cyl used a different Trans.
So if I read the report right, only 242 cars were built with option 662 Leather Beechwood?
Does someone know if these wheels are optional wheels or just some put on later on?
I have seen the center cap logo before but I can't place it, any ideas?

Thanks Drew!
I think the wheels look good on the Camaro and they are in good shape but the Lincoln emblem I have to replace asap!
The original wheels are gone......
I remember now the Lincoln emblem from the grille ornament on those huge 1970:s Continentals.
I sent you a message.....
Thanks for the help!

Just curious, Where did you get the 460 number?
I plugged in Z28 & MM5. 1 of 78 with the NN5 Emissions Override
