Have a 87 Pontiac trans am firebird trans am gta, has a 305 ho meaning it has the double hump heads, looks like a big block, has new clutch, throw out bearing, slave cylinder, yes it's a five speed out of a vette, has the 280 posi vette rear end, and has the digital dashboard out of a vette, came as a package in the 80's, rare car, they guy I bought it off of rigged up some relays and it caught fire on me driving the car, ruint alternator harness, alternator, radiator and fans, I bought all new parts, radiator, alternator, fan, has the 30 slot authentic honey comb off set rims that aren't curb rashed, and last I signed the title didn't take it to the dmv, lost the title, selling as whole part car 1200
The seller has quite a command of the written word, or maybe "ruint" is just sprinkled in there for character. Must be an old timer if he knows about double hump heads. An interesting read to be sure!
I cannot get over the big block double hump heads. I have to show this to my dad. He has built many many sbc in his time and from the mid 70s till the early 90s stood firmly by the 300-375 horse double hump heads. He is gonna roll when I show him this.
ROTFL You sir, are the definition of a character! Hats off!
And I didn't know a small block looks like a big block. I thought it looked kinda... smaller. Learn something new every day. So does this mean I can put my double hump heads on a big block? THAT should be an interesting first turn of the key! KA-BLOOEY!
