Just like with every Rare/Highly optioned thirdgen you gotta find the person who is willing to spend that kind of money. They can range from $5k to $12k. Thats what I have seen them sold for. There is a small group of people on facebook that really love these cars. Might want to try and sell there. look up Mecham Performance and Design on FB.
Here is one that a member tried to sell for 8k IIRC.

Hard to put a value on them, as they are not well known or recognized in the collector world. Most of the ones that I have seen sold, needed work or were not original.
My hubby owns 1982#55. It was priced at 8k, but the seller took a lot of heat from here as he had previously disclosed what he bought it for. (mistake #1). We bought it in 2010 and 3rd gen prices were a lot lower, and no we did not pay 8k, much less.
The car has since been repainted and semi restored. It is only driven to shows and cruise ins.
Not a lot of info out there available. I have had conversations with Dennis Mecham several times and he told me they didnt keep a lot of records on them. Most of what he told me was from memory.
We have had several generous offers on #55, but have declined as we are not looking to sell the car at this time.
Crushta, would love to hear more about #105 and share some pictures if you can.
