87 Formula 5 speed 8900 miles

Just ran into this 87 Firefird Formula TPI 5 speed manual, I think this very unique in the silver color.
https://orangecounty.craigslist.org/...652550168.html

Only 8900 miles!!

Wow... That is a great looking car, I wonder what it looks like underneath. Being in Southern California, might be minty... Wow, perfect color too...

Re: 87 Formula 5 speed 8900 miles

Why was it repainted?

88-up door moldings, painted hood latch, painted hood latch bolts, painted headlight bracket bolts... Odd.

The door moldings were introduced on the Firebird in 1987, and the Camaro in 1988, all 4 of my 87's had them

The Painted headlight bucket bolts and latch bolts are exactly how all of my my 87 were... They went to Black in 1988 or 89...

There is nothing on that car from those pictures that makes me think it was repainted.
