Re: production numbers

92RS TBI car? Lots. Well, less than 1984 Z28s, less than 91RS TBI cars, but still a base model car, even with the V8 option not terribly noteworthy.

Yup.

However it has 2 options that may make it more or less interesting depending on the person. The 84 Purple Haze Metallic and the 25th Anniversary appearance option. 1992 RS 305TBI with T-Tops, Purple Haze Metallic, 25th Anniversary appearance package and gray cloth interior shows approximately 240 units. But don't get too stuck on the figure because any car you try to decode can be made to appear less common when you add more and more options to narrow it down.

Re: production numbers

Compnine.com was used. They sell accounts to look up such information. That information is generally not made public and wasn't recorded in such a manner to allow getting approximate figures. Compnine has copies of some of GM's records and using a database and some scripts they're able to show approximate build numbers. They don't have records for every single year and/or model so the numbers aren't always 100%. But no other source is either.
