85 ZF

Just registered, thanks in advance for any info. Haven’t had any 3rd gens for about 25 years and they were my drivers while working on my 1st gens, I picked up an 85 ZF a few months ago basically because it was close and I didn’t know much about them thinking it could be something special. Turns out I already have to many irons in the fire and it set since purchase. Can’t find much info at all except it’s a NE dealer option, any info on these cars appreciated

Re: 85 ZF

Pretty sure it's a peel and stick package applied to an otherwise typical base model Camaro. Stickers, emblems, and a peel and stick woodgrain dash kit, IIRC.

I though they were a Z28, but for the European market?

Re: 85 ZF

What Drew said AFAIK. None of them that I have seen were either in Europe, or were special in any way. Mostly plain Jane sedans of the type such as people would buy for teenage daughters, with the "styling" touch added.

Re: 85 ZF

My memory is foggy about them I guess. I remember seeing "ZF" but don't remember much else.

Re: 85 ZF

Pretty sure the ZF was just a dealer option with woodgrain and decals, sometimes a sunroof etc. etc. I don't think it's worth anything extra, but if YOU like, that's all that matters.
