Aldl delete?
Did any third gen come with out an Aldl port

Quite a few actually.

Export cars to places that didn't require such things in those days in particular. Canada especially.

My daughter bought a 85 Camaro with the 2.8. the previous owner had rigged the fuel pump to a toggle switch and bypassed the maf relay. I'm trying to get it back to stock and there is no evidence of the Aldl. Nothing!
