Hatch Wiper

The Trico wiper below was on the car when I purchased it in 93. Note the release lever. Was that wiper original to the car?

I don't believe so. I think the rear wiper blade assembly was similar in appearance to the front wipers.

That looks like a later wiper blade style, Like Scott said, they would have been similar to the front wipers.

What makes me question the originality of the blade, I guess, are newer models with rear wipers. My 2011 Subaru Forester, for example, is equipped with a much more desirable-looking rear wiper than the fronts—the rear is after more exposed to view than the fronts. That's all I've got, lol.
