I'm watching this one. I see it closing around $70k-$75k. Let's see if the market starting its decline impacts the price. I don't think it will.

That's an amazing car. Too bad someone felt the need to put those dumb pinstripe accents all over the place.

What's up with this rat's nest of wires?

Re: 87 IROC with 729 miles on BAT.

I recall this was a discussion in the past as Scott's low mileage 1987 IROC-Z did not have them:

But my wiring was not a rat's nest like that. My thought is that the power antenna nylon probably snapped, and they pulled all of that out to disconnect the motor. Just my assumption. I'm sure all of it can be easily tucked back up without issue.

Right. But yours didn't have the hush panels, nor does this one, which was why I referred to yours when I quoted the comment asking about the lack of hush panels.

Oh, I know why you posted that. You also presented the link so others can read the thread where it was discussed which cars had them and which cars didn't. My response was related to the wiring rat's nest.

That sticker price was a whole lot of money back in 87! Amazing car there.

My low mile 87 does not have the under dash covers either. The lights actually mount to the framework and not the plastic panels.

Re: 87 IROC with 729 miles on BAT.

Could not imagine only putting 729 miles on a car, even my low milage cars see 100 a year. Love to see a perfect 80's car though.
