1989 Bandit II Prototype worth!

Hey guys not sure if there is a thread on this already but just got my hands on a 1989 Pontiac Trans Am Bandit 2 Edition and I noticed the badge by glove Department says Prototype.. curious to know what a car like this may be worth.. body is in fair condition everything else is original.. besides the motor which was swapped out and im still getting info on...

I can't comment on actual value but production ones never fetch much money, even in lower mile nice condition examples. They're seen in the hobby as base model cars with doodads stuck on...because they mostly are that. If it's actually a prototype, I wouldn't expect a ton of monetary interest from anyone either.

The ThirdGen "Bandit" cars are an aftermarket conversion. They were simply an appearance conversion by a company Choo-Choo Customs on base Firebirds.

They generally aren't valued above a non-converted Firebird.

Interesting to know and appreciate the replies!! Would anybody be able to point me in the right direction to be able to find all the badges, body kit, interior components and as well as the bird decal on the hood?

There is a Facebook group called Choo Choo Customs Collectibles, so start there as well as the Choo Choo Company in Tennessee. Maybe they can let you know what’s available.
