I’ve been looking at trying buy a camaro of any gen and this one happen to come across. Looking to get some opinions on what it’s worth. I think about $4500 is the max for this car. And I know this guy is selling to make money off of it because I know he bought it for 3k. I offered 4 but he declined. Like I said looking for opinions.

4k is fair for that car. I see warped door panels, filthy interior and possibly some wiring hanging down under the dash. He certainly didn't put that car in its best light for the ad.

The car looks like it has been sitting unused for a long time. What is its mechanical condition, mileage, options, and service history? Are the floors and the T-top bar rusted? The fact that the interior is filthy and the seller didn't even bother to sweep the carpet before posting the car for sale tells me what can't be seen is very likely to be junk.

Based solely on the very limited info provided by those pics, I'd consider the car as a roller only, and worth maybe $2K. Before a purchase is considered, you'll need to get answers to the above questions, and do so by an in-person inspection.

However you decide to proceed, good luck.

The 3K is what it's worth or less. The car is a mess and who knows how the carb conversion was done. IMHO I would not pay 4K for this car....
