Aluminium Driveshaft?

Hi Guys,

I was under my formula 350 and noticed it has an aluminium drive shaft. Was this available from the factory? The car is 100 stock down to the raido, so I was surprised to see this.

I believe 88 might have been around the first year for the option...

Now check your spare tire and see if the rim is aluminum! N64 space saver.

N64 is listed as an aluminum inflatable spare but I've seen more than one car that has the N64 RPO and a steel economy spare.

Easy to tell the difference... the steel spares are painted black to prevent rust and corrosion... aluminum spares are aluminum (won't corrode) and are natural (ie silver)

Check your yellow pages for fire extinguisher places. Some of them can refill the spare canister.
