How does it adjust? It appears to me, to be more like "2-speed selectable". I know it is is the manufacturers description of adjustable, so I mean nothing towards you. Just trying to understand it.
But it looks like it just gives you 2 choices of speed, since I see no adjust pot. Full speed of cut in half by snipping the single wire loop sticking out. Is that how it is "adjustable"?

there is a little dip switch (dial) you can rotate to adjust
