Got a rust free floor out here in CO.
We have cut sections for people before, to their measurements.

Re: Need Floor Pans

if you have a really rough car you may want to dump it and find something cleaner
and rust free.its not worth spending a ton of money to pay someone to do it
unless its a very rare car.properly fixing these floors are not just "cut and pop rivet back in" type
of repair, they are part of the cars structure and are integrated in with the uni-body.you need good
solid fabricating skill, understanding of the cars inner structures and serious welding experience,
if you have all these things then by all means continue.

trust me,its easy to get in over your head with something like this if you do not have
the place to work on it,the tools to work on it,the money to work on it and the skills
to do it.spending a little more and doing a lot less "hacking" are very beneficial to you.

I have a buddy who completely destroyed a Acura Integra he got into a accident on black ice flipped over totaled the car fame damage and wheels broken off he fixed it and it drives yes that cost a lot of money he graduated school for body work he had help and resources no it was not easy but he did it in 1 year now if that’s not motivating idk what is but if he can do it so can I His key words are... “It’s just metal you have the tools it can be fixed” and he is 100% Correct

What he said!!! There are many really good solid cars that are perfect for a build that cost a lot less than buying floors and paying for all the work....

Re: Need Floor Pans

I hope you don't think someone called YOUR car rotted, I don't see that anywhere in the thread. The metal used in these cars is a very thin alloy, difficult and expensive to weld properly, and as 1986BANDIT stated it is all part of an engineered package. Cutting and patching should only be done by an experienced chassis person. That gets expensive at the front end, if not fixed properly, then it can get very expensive at the back end - when stuff falls apart and you hit something or someone because of it.
