Steering column for '86 Maro
I am sick of trying to fix a switch here and there. Sick of being able to turn the car on without a key. I just want a working 86 camaro steering column or one that will fit in that year.
It has to have....
No cruise control, Hi or Lo Wiper Switch (Pulse correct?), Signals work, and Key Actually Locks.
Most importantly Hi-beam switch and rod that isn't broken or bent. Don't need steering wheel.
Will buy ASAP. Need to pass inspection

2) Hi-beam switch work?
3) What if I don't have cruise control? Will it work?
4) Does key cylinder lock all the way down? Very important.
I'm all ears. If so, then we can work out with paypal.

intermitant wiper are the kind that pause a few seconds then wipe
if your car doesn't have cruise then the switch wont make anything work
yes everything works perfectly on the column. and it has no tilt wobble common in alot of columns, it is factory black and has never been dyed a different color. I will pull it out of my garage and double check it though.
why don't you just fix whats wrong with yours it would be alot cheaper and less work. all you need is a steering wheel remover and lock ring depressor to fix the column. it's easy to replace anything like whats wrong with your column

I could fix it. Here's whats wrong.
My wiper switch is for a delay, but I have intermitant wipers.
The key wont turn all the way down to lock. Only goes close enough. I don't know how to fix that. Anyone can just turn it without a key and start the car. I don't want that. My old key cylinder is sobad so i can pull that key out in any position (ON or start). I switched the key cylinder and it still wont go all the way down.
