I was going to put the original stereo back into my 84 Trans Am and found that the idiot who installed the current CD player had cut the end off the harness and spliced the wires to the CD player (Why spend a whole ten bucks for an adaptor?) Can anyone hook me up with a radio harness for an 84 Trans Am? I have been told several GM models use the same harness and color codes, but I don't know that for sure. I have searched the internet and cannot find one with the combination of color coded wires I need. The wires in my harness have the following colors: blue, blue with black stripe, blue with white stripe, red, orange, yellow, yellow with black stripe, black, brown, pink, white and green. I will buy the entire harness if the price is reasonable, or just the plug with enough wire to make a splice.

I believe there is three seperate sections to the 84' T/A Stereo Harness that you are requesting. You have the Front Speaker Section and the Rear Speaker Section which is two seperate plugs. Then you have the Power, Light and Memory Section which is part of your Dash Harness and not by itself. I believe I do have the two Speaker Sections in stock which runs $10.00 plus shipping and handling. If you have any questions or other needs we can be reached at (805) 522-2539.
