electronic speedo guage cluster
i have an 86 z28 that i need an electronic speedo cluster so i can hook it up the 4l60e. from what im told they started the electronic speedo that will fit my car in 88, so i could use a speedo and buffer from 88 or 89 to fit my car. i think they have to be out of a v8 though because i found a couple 89s that were cable speedos but they were v6s.

Your best bet is to buy an aftermarket electric speedo and wire it up to your trans....
or have the tailshaft machined to accept the cable sending unit. Some T56 swappers go that route...
