Looking for 'flexible plastic stick' that goes inside the shifter shaft
Its made for the push button top (the knight rider style) i need the plastic stick that has flat sides. I have the one that is rounded but need the longer flat sided one. see pic. Its the black plastic on the right side.

Is this only available on 82-84 firebird/trans am, or are the other models that you know of that work/have this part?

I think only 82-84? or maybe ones that just have the push top not the side push button shifter.

I got a shifter from an '84 berlinetta with a top push button, i will check for you when i go to my shop tomorrow, it's white from what i remember, i will remove and take photos.
