Hi guys,

I have an '84 Autoform Conversion that doesn't appear to be complete. I'm missing the fiberglass interior/exterior piece that goes behind the seats (see attached photo). I think I have all of the other pieces, but instead of that fiberglass portion, I have basically a flap that snaps to the rear piece.

So in short, looking for Autoform Conversion Part(s). If you have a donor or know of a source, please let me know. It doesn't have to be in great shape as I'm re-doing the car . . . and since my dad used to be in the fiberglass boat business, I'm sure it would be no problem to build a mold and make one if the one you have is real bad. Let me know if you can help.

How do I move the thread? Do I need to re-create it?

I'm actually curious if maybe I have an earlier version of the Autoform, which is why I'm missing this piece. Is it possible they hadn't created it yet when they converted by car?

 

I have seen lots of '83s with the fiberglass piece. Yours is just missing.
