Re: Steering column
Ok, can you get the whole thing to me with the bottom part of the steering shaft? They would have to be pressed together with a machine otherwise. Can you send a pic?
I have the new Vats ignition switch module

Re: Steering column
The column is sold as a complete unit, It's sold just as it is when removed from the car. This one is from an 89 FireBird Formula.
Here's is a picture:

After pulling it out I found the following,..... It's an Automatic Column with Tilt Steering. The Blinker control has "delay" wipers and it has a VATS ignition key and Module that was in the same car. The Tilt control, blinker lever, and ignition switch are all tight and not sloppy, the plastic around the column is also in good shape, I found 1 scratch. Chip Key included.
I also found - what appears to be - a resistor spliced into the VATS ignition harness. ( see pic ) I did not unwrap it to verify, but what else could it be. I do recall that the car started; I don't know if the resistor bypassed the module or not. The steel steering wheel hub attached in the picture is NOT included. That's a Berlinetta specific part and I need it for that type of steering wheel.
Shipping: I used ZIP code 17325 - GETTYSBURG, PA. All quotes include $125 insurance coverage, tracking included with 'ground' - Add $1 for USPS Delivery Confirmation.
USPS Parcel:$18.00
USPS Priority: $22.50
Ground: $18.00
If your still interested just send me a PM for the rest of the details.

Re: Steering column
Does this one have the cruise control switch on the blinker multiswitch? Can you ship this column to me for 100? If thats good we can go ahead with it.
