[82-84 Trans Am] Non-A/C components: Manual vents, cables, boxes
Hi guys,
because an A/C is not real necessary in Germany and it's not even working, I want to remove this thing from my '82 Trans Am and clean up my my engine bay a little bit. I don't just want to rip it out, I only want to use original parts to revert this changes whenever I want to.
I already found a cable-drive HVAC box including the control unit and a nice Non-AC box for the engine bay with motor and resistor. I am still looking for the manual vents controls below the steering column including all cables and boxes for the driver and passenger side of the instrument panel. Additionally, I am looking for a set of original non-ac duct work (behind the dash).
I think this is all I need to convert an A/C car to a Non-A/C car. What do you think, will it even work without the manual vents installed? As far as I take a look at my service manual, it seems these both systems are complete independent from each other?
Would be great if someone here could help me out! Please note that international shipping to Germany is necessary.
Thanks a lot,
Marcel
