Need spring for OEM center console release button (1989 Camaro)
After about 45 minutes looking in my lawn for this thing I think its about time to throw in the towel. Does anyone have one they can spare or sell relatively cheap? I need just the little U shaped metal spring.
Thanks in advance

Like the slider thing that goes near the back of it? I may have one because I just took mine out after trying for half an hour of trying to get it back in. It didn't really make a difference at all.

Yeah I think that's it. I'm not 100% on what it looks like because I took mine apart to take the broken button out and it just shot into my lawn somewhere.

okay, well i think were talking about two different parts. If its the button to open the center console lid that had the spring, idk what to tell ya. Mine never had one. I actually put a small spring in a hole a drilled in the lid and makes it not rattly.

We might be talking about different things then. Whatever I need is the thing that makes the button lock into that little grove. My button is loose at the moment because of this
