[NJ] - Hatch Pressure Sensing Switch - 1991

My switch broke and now my hatch won't pull down. I have the early 1991 steel body hatch pull down. This is the switch that activates from the latch to pull the hatch back down when closed.

I need the AC Delco switch, part number 16604067

Re: [NJ] - Hatch Pressure Sensing Switch - 1991

Is the switch broken or just not working? I just swapped assemblies from one of m car to another and it was acting like it wasn’t working. Used a little silicone spray and tripped them a few times and started working just fine. Assuming that’s not your problem but worth checking if you had not.

That being said, I have a couple of these switched. I take a look when I get to garage. Both are from 91’s so should be a match

Switch is broken, little lever broke off. I actually just found a switch from another thirdgen.org member, firebirddude142. He has one and is shipping out today. Thanks for your offer to help as well though!!

These things have been discontinued for a while, what a pain when it breaks.

No problem good guy with lots of parts! And now that you mention that maybe since I have a total of three and two cars maybe worth keeping that extra 😂
