UU6 Radio
UU6 Radio
Hi Everyone,
I am looking for the RPO UU6 radio with the 5 band equalizer, cassette and has the red back lighting. Any referals as to who might have one would be appreciated as well.
Thanks,
John

Try Noe Saldivar on FB.
He's a member of the group called "Third Gen Expo"
I tried to copy and paste the link, but it wouldn’t work.

Re: UU6 Radio
Good luck. I’ve been looking for the same radio for years and haven’t been able to find one. This radio with red backlighting only came in 1983 Daytona 500 and 1984 Trans Ams.

Hi Battman,
I have heard they are rare. It's like looking for the Holy Grail. I have been inquiring where ever I can. I am looking for the UU6 to enhance my recently acquired 1984 15th Anniversary edition which has under 29,000. Overall it's in Very Good Condition and all factory original.
Thanks for responding,
John

Hi John,
From what you know with your past experience on obtaining a UU6 radio, It sounds like you would stand a better chance at winning the lottery. You can only hope that somehow one comes along.
