How to remove black plastic trim from door panels.
I have a pair of window sweeps attached to the upper black plastic pieces I want to remove from a set of door panels.
I have the door panel off so the nuts/plastic studs are exposed on the backside. I can get them to spin, but they do not thread off. I also tried taking a small flat blade, sliding it under the nut to apply some upward pressure while turning and still nothing.
Does anyone know how to remove them without destroying them?

Just take a set of needle nose pliers and remove the inverted nuts, either by inserting the pliers inside the nut or by removing from the outside. I am not sure if anyone makes an insideout socket but my method works for me
