Dashboard Pad Question
Are all thirdgen dashboard pads interchangeable?

Car: 1969 grand prix
Engine: 389+.030, comp cam, Edl manifold, Hooker , Edl carb, 1.65 Roller rockers, 3 in exhaust
Transmission: TH-400
Axle/Gears: 3.23 not that bad with enough torque
Im no expert but Im pretty sure camaro pads gotta stay with camaros, and fire bird trans-am pads interchangeable on 82- 85 86-92 pontiac f- body. Like i said could be wrong but that's what i was told.

I don't think they are interchangable but you can get a dash pad cover on Ebay or from A-1 that installs over top and looks great. Pretty easy to install and mine was a perfect fit. I paid about $95 plus shipping and got it in a few days. You do have to remove the existing dash pad which is very easy. Good luck

I know this first hand.The dash pad from an 88 camaro does not fit ,as a direct bolt swap, the dash of my 90 camaro.Now if ya did the whold dash then it would fit.But pad for pad no.And I have the x-tra pads ta back that up.

I had one, they do look good and they are easy to install BUT they also warp very easily if you leave your car outside in the sun.
