seatbelt questions

ok, im not sure if this goes here or not, but im sure if it doesnt someone will let me know.

my seatbelts seem to retract and click into place jsut fine. The problem(or at least i tihnk it is) is that when you pull hard on them sorta like simulating an accident or hard braking, the belts do not lock. they just keep unrolling. I tihnk this is a problem if i were to get into an accident. it seems like all of them are doing this. im not sure if they are broken or what. any help on this subject is greatly appreciated.

They are not designed to lock when you pull on them. They only lock when the unit is accelerating or deccelerating. Hard to test other than by hitting the brakes....
