DOOR PANEL MEASUREMENTS
Hey guys, I'm going to attempt to build my own door panel replacements. Does anyone know th exact measurements for our 3rd gens? Any help would be great!!! Thanks!!

Axle/Gears: Stock
im not sure about the length since its measurements isnt the same all the way around... my best bet would be using the old door panel as a template.. i was thinking on this progect.. what would be the best material to use? original material in made of cardboard..

i have seen a project where someone used sheet metal as a door panel and used the old doors panels as a template. since the third gen door panels are flat this works well if your going for a look like that.

Yeah, that was me. I still have them and I'd be willing to trace out a template for you on poster board if you'd like. Just cover the cost of the poster board and the shipping. I'm not sure if you're interested as this post was several months ago, though. I personally decided not to use the aluminum panels I made and instead decided to cut them out of fiberboard.
